I absolutely love everything about this. The story behind it and the fact that it reminds me of king of the hill lol. Great colors! The only thing I would recommend is with the shading. The mountains look flat because they don't have any shading

i do thank you for taking the time looking at that. course it is puzzling since i have 5 colors blended and shading in different areas of the mountains. when i viewed this posting on both my laptop and cpu i can clearly see them. dont worry im not upset. i just thought i would mention it in case your color controls are off on you computer. still glad you took the time and shared your views with me. they are appreciated. thanks

i have 18 music videos (thats over 800 illustrations) on Youtube.com.i invite ya to view some of them. when ya get to the site just type in "MKFlood Presents". i know folks always identify me with my "Funnie Flowers' cartoons and you know whats funny. thru the year i get some writer want me to do an illustration (that is not cartoons) and when i do them and really doesn't get noticed much. here is another funny thing over the last 6 years the only thing that gets nominated of the work of the month here on FAR is the flowers cartoon. i even hear the usual "all you draw is flower cartoons". now ill blow your mind..out of the over 800 illustrations only about 250 is cartoons. see the medium that i mastered took me years to get accepted in the art world. see sharpie and bic pens are office mediums not art. also they consider pen work to be more cartoon work than art. it wasnt till about a decade ago to finally get recognized. i think when things got better when sharpie selected some of my work to appear in their 1st video that was aired on the MTV Movie awards back in september, 2012 and after that things start to get better as far as being recognized. you know next year ill be celebrating 50 years of working with sharpie and bic pens. kinda like the old Grateful Dead song "Trucking" when they sing that line "what a long strange trip its been". god that is sooooo true. however i still have tons of ideas and energy to keep rolling. my idol was Norman Rockwell. you know he was past 50 when he got discovered and almost not hired by the Saturday Evening Post cause they wanted an artist and he was considered an illustrator. I'm well past the 50 yr. mark but i still keep rocking with the hope one day i can get a regular job doing this. wink wink..thanks for the great review and btw congratulations on the win!(clapping). thanks for the great review.

Mark,
the words that come to my mind are" The Road to Hell is Paved with Good intentions!" & this pair are going to need to act on those intentions, if they are to avoid falling off into the flames of Hell that surround them. They must keep their eyes fixed on Heaven I walk carefully... Created with very skilful draftsmanship beautiful choice, blending & application of your colours.

Oh my - Looks a little hot is several ways. What an interesting scene to marvel at. Stirs all kinds of questions and stirs ones curiosity. Where are they going? Why is the earth on fire? Are they just hot or did their clothes burn? Where have they been? I like the overall composition that allows the path to lead us to their destination. The red in the flames is very effective. Nice. HOPE! The Best and least used 4 letter word. I really like this for it can be used on so many inspirational levels. I lost HOPE on multiple occasions. Once I found it I have not lost it ever again. I even help those to find their hope now too. I like that you made this dimensional with shadows behind the people. Nothing clouding their views. I like the muted colors of Hope. The fire flames makes it have the impact of toils of life. This beautiful creation is very interpretive on so many levels. Great job. Faith and Blessings Always~ Cindy Sue.....

ty..blessings to you and your family as well. I tell the writers to give me a very brief description of what they want. I take it from there. I have been working on working on illustrated music videos to drum up business with musicians as well. if you get the time stop by either my profile page here on FAR(scroll down) or on Fanmusic or you can go to YouTube.com under "MKFlood Presents" and check out any of my 15 music videos. some will make ya feel good, some will make ya think and some will make ya cry. the admission is free but you have to bring your own popcorn. mine taste flat..wink. lol. glad ya enjoyed it. btw I just posted another new one for the new video titled "Oh I Just Don't Believe It!" .more coming and stay tuned! thanks for the great review!

this is very good indeed. amazing to see right at the end of the year, where you tend to get more tired pictures to view. this has your unique freshness, only your super sharpies, can bring to life.
