Clever idea for the effects. I love the sphere containing gorgeous bloom and bee. The framing around the scene heighten sphere effect. The sharp focus and lighting are super.

Beautiful..you make it sound so simple with your technique. Your initial choice for your subject must have been anticipated with this post processing treatment in mind..yes? As you have a lovely creation here. I would love to have this as a hanging ornament...or a glass globe on my mantle. Clarity is perfect as it your play of light and shadows. Your white is completely balanced and your little bees bum is well placed in your frame..as the subject of your title. I love the placement of the green leaves in the lower corner. And that splash of red is just enough in those linear textures. Gorgeous!

Ron,
Thanks a million for your great review.
The "in a Globe effect" is Found in Corel Paint Shop Pro Geometric Effects-circle...
When it works i's great but if NOT you get a lot of distortion of the subject..the trick is to crop to square leaving a GOOD margin around the subject which MUST in this instance be centred.
Goog luck

I have always liked your images with flowers or birds inside a sphere, and also this one is very lovely with the white orange blossom invaded by a bumble bee. It has got such a fine placement within the circle, and I also think the dark background is working well.
The original photo must also have been nice and sharp because it is fine details to be seen both in the blossom and the green leaves. I also think the exposure is very good.
This is a well done and truly lovely mixed media photo Susan. I also want to wish you a Happy New Year.

You are more then welcome Susan, and I have not done very much reviewing either because of Christmas and re decorating my living room and dining room. Thanks for the greeting in Norwegian, and of course the same to you.

This is so interesting I can't take my eyes away. If you didn't say so, I wouldn't have realized that is a bee inside the flower. As I look closer the detail is so clear I can see the little hairs on it's leg and it's body looks so soft. And the way you've encapsulated it all in a bubble is incredible. Amazing.
