This is so sweet Cleo, and I especially like the idea with the little angel painting the star with gold. I also like a lot the limited color pallet and the simplicity of this little scene.
What always surprises me with your digital work is how much it resembles traditional art. It is fine textures to be seen, and also a good flow in the brush strokes. You have also brought light into this image by your good use of high lights.
The image is nicely framed and everything is well placed on the canvas giving the composition a fine balance. Indeed a lovely and cute New Year creation with strong visual impact.

My tools are very similar to traditional art. Just that I paint on a pad, but I think the traditional style mostly comes in because I started out with oil on canvas before I went digital.
