Yes, snow and trees can combine to produce amazing images like the one you have posted here. It has good composition, it's sharp and reasonably exposed. Perhaps it has been just a little under exposed? Otherwise an enjoyable photo!

You framed this so nicely and the snow is a lovely shade of white. The background begs the eyes to go there. I really like that the branches are covered in so much snow.

Great wintry scene. Where I live in the UK we used to get snow but for the last few years we haven't had any - only frost which also looks pretty on the trees and shrubs. I love all the patterns made by the snowcovered twigs and branches. Very good lighting and focus. Great composition. Suzanne

oh yeah I do not miss one bit of it..lol. oh we had a cold front that came thru my area. everyone braced themselves to get ready for the 50's. that ok. the next day it went back to the 80's. whew! that was close! evil grin..lololol. the clarity is great. the angle of the shot of the ice and snow trees is great. the capture of the light is great. the image is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer.(not me) good eye and great job overall

I love snow but it's not always easy to photograph. You inspire me! This is a very pleasing photo, both in composition and lighting. The darker trees on the left contrast nicely with the lighter limbs on the right, and the little pond beyond is the bonus. Very nice!
