this is so nice, in Israel it is now very cold, but the snow, in fact in the area I live there is no snow, not ever

What a wonderful play on winter - the color is perfection and the lighting handled grandly. Too chilly for me to stand nearby though - maybe in the Spring! LOL Great visual. Thanks for sharing.

This is beautiful Lise! It looks identical to a spot in our yard. Is that a pond behind this tree? You have successfully controlled the white balance in your snow scene...whether it be with your camera settings or in your post processing. Your clarity has been sustained throughout as well. Your use of your light and shadows worked nicely. You have rather given us a 'rabbits eye view' of being beneath the brush in this beautiful snow. So natural. Love it!

thanks,,this is part of the lake,,I was looking down from the road, the trees and all the snow makes it difficult to see the water but because the ice is just forming I though it just looked so magical,

This is such a beautiful snow scene, and you have pictured it so well in all its simplicity. What I think is the best with this photo is the white balance and the fine shadings you have captured in the snow.

The photo is also nice and sharp and it is clear and well defined details to be seen in the snow covered trees. I also think the exposure is perfect.

Cropping to a square format works really well, and it is a fine balance in the composition with the biggest trees as a frame on the left. A truly lovely and well taken photo of a winter scene.
