This is an excellent entry for this contest! Not only have you used the proper light settings, but your have used clear glass to accent your shadows even more. Ingenious!

Your detail is great..showing your cork stoppers and the glass edges and reflections clearly.

Your set and your framing is just right... and odd number of subjects, with some 'activity' showing with one laying down without the stopper, and room for your reflections. There is not an uncomfortable use of negative space due to your reflections and I think that bit of line showing your surface edge on the right. I think that is smart move leaving that in there. A wonderful and artistic entry for this contest! Good luck!

The central short DOF makes the shot. Glistening light on the jar opening brings us into the scene instantly. The out of focus cork with reflection adds tot he depth effect. The series of reflections across the scene fills in the scene perfectly.
