This is indeed a great looking hat which works as a colorful attire. It is also therefore a very good entry for this contest. The work you did on the background is perfect, and the lady with the hat is standing out from it in the most excellent way.

Your photo is also nice and sharp showing such clear and well defined details in every part of the hat, and the exposure is perfect.

Also the cropping is working really well, and the lady has got a very good placement within the frame. I think this is a lovely and really well taken photo with a very good DOF, and I wish you luck with the contest.

Great color, balance and light. This picture tells me this lady is fun and ready to have more! The pastel blend in the background is mysterious. I like it.
