Oh this is very nice and well done Suzanne. At first glance I thought it was a photograph made to look like a painting. The details are wonderfully rendered. The dark shore on the right nicely frames and contrasts with the blues of the water and the sky. The only negative is that I do not have a Six star to award. Please accept my poor Cyber Six for an excellent painting ~ Steve

Wow! My dream...Scotland, lochs...and friends! I would love to hear all about that trip!

Your painting is beautiful. It has excellent use of light and shadows..and lets your viewer imagine standing in your foot prints. You have depicted the drop off of the cliff into the distant water very well. And the distance hills have been created with an excellent method to portray depth of field!

Your detail in your tree and leaves is stunning. Your colors are vivid yet ones that we would see in nature. A nice blend to achieve your black shadows without being overpowering to your composition. Just lovely! So you... Thanks for sharing.

Thanks so much, Becky, for your really lovely review. I'm glad you like this. We had a wonderful holiday - stayed in an old country hotel which reportedly was the one Elvis Presley stayed in when he had a stopover on his way to Germany. Wonderful food and company. We're planning more trips this year. Suzanne
