A quite natural cat shot posted here. You have captured a cute pose here! The image has good exposure and is sharp. Well done!

I like this capture! you were on the ground with your camera..right with your cat! Very artistic perspective!! That alone gives your a 5 star from me.

There are such good parts to your photo..the clarity is there, the colors are there and your framing is excellent...leaving the cat eyes and paw to steal the show. And I love that bit of green grass.

If this were mine I would back off of the contrast and the saturation and see what happens to give your theme parts..the eyes and face...more clarity and less shadows. Somehow..I would try to back away from those shadows on Mr. Triggers face. Sometimes highly saturated colors..while attractive..may need to be pulled back in order to expose some other great surprises in the details of your photo!

This deserves a good look! I like it!! Thanks for sharing!

Wow! Thank you so very much for the techniques I can use to improve. :-) You suggested and did not hit me with the chalk eraser as a old teacher, with expert syndrome would. This HAS happened here before. I just chuckle. Laughter is good for the Soul! This is really APPRECIATED! I am trying to find my nitch in photography but I am a eclectic. I like everything. I believe to be improving by looking at my first photos on this site to now. I am self taught and have gained a wealth of knowledge from people like you who take time and don't blow smoke up my butt just for sakes of what they think you want to hear. The piece of grass running up Trigs eye bothers me. I still don't know how to clone. Willing to learn and each day I try to learn something new. BTW, this is the color of his eyes. I wish he could of fathered a litter. Just would of loved to see what would of happened. Maybe Purple eyes? Ha! I was very lucky the grass reflected a wee bit more intense green into his eyes. I am going to muddle through and try the suggestions to see what happens. Blessings to you my friend for a New Year full of abundant Blessings. Always~ Cindy Sue ~

Wow! What a pleasure it is to share ideas with you!! I love your attitude and as I said in my review...I see your sense of art by your perspective with your camera! Trigger's eyes are incredibly beautiful! I look forward to sharing this site with you in this new year!! Ditto to you in 2017!!

Too adorable! First and foremost - kudos on your perspective. I sense you were rolling around in the grass with Trigger. Secondly - I like the edits (ref, the light vignette etc.) If I had to identify one thing - it would be to clone out the one blade of grass stretching up and running alongside kitty's eye (a subjective opinion - and minor overall) . Nice work.

Wow wow wow! Wow! I love this photo! The position you've captured Mr. Trigger in is so sweet and intimate. I love that it's off-centered. And the editing! WONDERFUL job on the edits and enhancements. I think you've really made a perfect photo here!! Amazing job!

Nice capture for the cat eyes, but this is the only part that is on focus and shot well, the cat body is totally blur and overexpose

thanks for sharing

A great shot with your iPhone. Your after photo work is wonderful. One can tell he has been around for awhile. It is good to know he likes his water on the rocks. Very well done Cindy Sue ~ Steve

I wish I had a six for this marvelous portrait of Mr Trigger your most handsome Tom cat upturned waiting to be tickled while looking into your very souls with his green eyes. He maybe mature but inside he's till a kitten! Artistic composition, framing & lighting take with superb camera techniques & love. Focus is spot on!
