Subtle illumination highlighting on their white fur & blue eyes.
Well framed, off centered with ample marginal spaces all throughout...
Diffused focusing in a low lit condition.

I thought at first this WAS a painting. I see that it's mixed media, and a very good one at that. The kittens are beautifully positioned (and I know you don't tell a kitten what to do!) and the stone background is ideal for your subject. You were "lucky" to get the kittens' eyes in your picture. Having photographed hundreds of kittens myself (at our animal shelter) I know that sometimes you take 50 pictures and get three good ones. Yours is a keeper!

This is an intriguing capture, Annie. The two white (out of three!) kittens look like a variety of Siamese. they are lovely
You have not only captured their physical characteristics, but their personalities and actions as well. Fun that they had a subject to torment a bit.
Your colors are beautiful throughout your scene. Your whites are balanced and pure of unseemly shadows and your browns are rich and detailed in a nice dof texture as a background...almost cave like.
Your light and shadows are what is needed to give these kittens the stage. And you have done that also with your framing. An overall pleasure to view!! I'm sure you have some good ones of all three!

First - the environment; The gray bed with the stones in the background (with noting else to offer a hint of domestication) initially offers the illusion of a cave. Secondly - the timing of the activity promotes "Curiosity" with "Caution". A well taken action shot with loads of interest. Kathy
