I like all this beauty captured in this flower garden. Thanks for those good artists notes. Nice angle of your shot and good perspective. Your lighting, colors, and details are excellent. A pleasure to view. Thanks for sharing.

I wished I had a garden with the beds so far of that I cannot see them from the window. You are lucky!
I like Snake Skin Island as name much better than #35. Your photo shows that this is a beautiful place. This composition seems all about curves. The curve of the road, the curves of the stones and the curve between those stone where many colorful flowers bloom.I like the vivid green sprinkled with the inviting color of blossoms. If I would be a bee I would land in this place.

Oh Cleo you are a sweetheart! That has got to be one of those most delightful reviews I've had on this post. I agree completely on the name...lol...the ONLY place it is called Bed #35 is on my computer. To me it will ALWAYS be the 'Snake Skin Island" bed. I really enjoyed your comments re: the curves too....you are the only one who brought that up. ...AND if you ever turn into a bee...lol (I LOVE that) I do hope you will buzz on over to my Snake Skin Island bed! Thank you so much for a really really fun review!!

Initial Impact: Beautiful and Peaceful.
Like the rich colors and the depth of this piece.
focus on the rocks is very good and the road but a little soft on the flowers.
Thanks for sharing and HAGD.

You are definitely a true gardener, one with a love for each and every flower. It is amazing to me that you would have the patience to record your plantings and make a work of art out of your garden. So lovely indeed.

Oh YES YES YES Mama-M. I just finished saying that to a reviewer...that I think of each and every bed as a blank canvas and choose flower color and texture as one would choose paint colors ...then....lol....I splash 'color' everywhere. And you are also so right in that I study and photograph each flower individually but do love seeing the 'big picture' as well....especially this time of year when there is nothing but snow out there. Thank you so much for acknowledging my living 'work of art'

The vivid colors are wonderful in your photo and the focus is perfect. You are obviously a skilled gardener! Your photo would be more appealing to me if it had a focal point. My eyes wander all over, not knowing what is most important to you the photographer. I'd like to see a different angle, perhaps with you on the trail.

Actually BC, one of the things I find so delightful about this particular bed is the variety of color and texture. I think of my flower beds as the blank canvas and the flower colors and textures as the paint I splash across it. I occasionally post photos of the beds as opposed to single flowers. Perhaps you'll see one in the future you find more calming. Do appreciate your thoughts though and thank you for checking it out.

I love your informative notes with this, Deborah and love all the different shapes, patterns and colours in your beautiful garden. I like the angle you used, with the path leading away making the viewer want to travel along this to see what's round the corner. The rocks and stones add good contrast. Very good lighting and focus showing great clarity. Lovely composition. Suzanne

Thank you soooo much Suzanne for getting my idea when I took this photo. I know there's a LOT to look at here but actually, that's one of the things I find so delightful about this particular bed. That 'path' btw is actually my road...lol....I do live out in the sticks. My flower beds line both sides of my road. Takes my mind off how rough it is. Anyway, do appreciate you having a good look and also mentioning my notes. Thank you again suzanne.

You must live in a really beautiful place and how lovely that your garden lines both sides of your road.

I recognized the flowers before I got to your naming them in text I just can't grow them - although I did manage love in the mist last year - must be a very large garden with looks very beautiful in this photo. :) Mary

An interesting presentation of rocks. As bigger objects they catch attention. The color makes them easy to spot. Placement of them in the frame is nice.
