a very nice shot for b/w photo contest as it is interesting seeing the red color added as it sound like a lot of work went into it. but may be a bit easier if you have so much experience.

Ron, I use Topaz black and white filter. Part of that particular filter is a brush that allows you to bring back the color in select areas if you wish.

Very interesting as I see the brushes but have not attempted anything yet as I try to change some photos but see more noise so I go back to the original.
