I have seen these little guys in the Florida Keys. The macro shot of this man of war is expertly captured. The lighting gives us a great look at the details of his shape and form. The squiggly blue cords are part of him but sure what unless someone stomped on him. The sand background and seaweed accents finish the shot so well like a piece of Florida art.

This jellyfish looks too pretty to be so deadly. Great lighting and focus. The lighting adds a silken quality to the jelly's body. Nice shades of blue thoughout.

Interesting capture of this deadly blue bottle. It looks very arty on the beach and such a vibrant blue. Crisp and clear and lovely lighting to show the detail. Nicely composed. Well captured.

It reminds me of a colorful slug. YUK! Your photo, however, is outstanding. The framing is great and the focus is excellent. it's almost three dimensional and you can tell it's filled with fluid and squishy. Great job.

I've not seen one of these in years. Can be very painful.

Perfect in colors and clarity.

I'm sure your jaunts here in Florida are being very rewarding. Keep up the Florida shots, loving it!

What a great shot of this Man-of-war. The blue has such a nice shimmering quality and the gentle textures are very well rendered. Thank you for the detailed biological information. Well done Fred ~ Steve

I remember some Australian girl who swam Cuba to Florida had to give up due to severe injuries from jellyfish. They do look nice to see them floating along and I thank you for showing the make-up of these nasty so'n'so's.Nature sure does produce some strange lookers with nasty consequences if contact is made. Real informative intro.
