It is beautiful but I'm happy for you it was not swimming with you in the sea! Beautiful composition, framing & lighting , taken withsuperb camera techniques & sharp foce she we can see this "deadly" life form in great detail.

Wow, what a cool looking, strange, beast. Just another reason not to jump in the water. I live on the gulf coast, in Sarasota, but I do not go to beach much. I am more of a farm girl.
I have a nephew that takes us out 40 miles to fish once in awhile. Walking the beach, maybe a couple of times a year is fun. My favorite place in Venice beach, because of the sharks teeth. Siesta beach has way to many people, because of the white beach sand, Nice shot of the man of war, and the info was a bonus too.

Eerie thing, difficult colors, asymmetrical figure with dangling threads, smooth sand background. Really looks simple but it's a complicated visual, so many shapes. Nicely done and even shadow-free. Thanks for your notes and for sharing.
