I never knew the name of these flowers, so I learned what they are now. I like the contrasting colors and the beauty of the green leaves surrounding them.
The way you created and painted in light highlights is fantastic.

The digital painting has a really good flow between the way the background leaves are rendered and the flowers, as well.
I do think that the clarity of the image seems off, everything looks blurry. Which is okay for the background areas, but not for the main focal point, the flowers, for me they should have crisper looking feel to them.
Like I said, "I like the compositional elements, r the color harmony and the way you have laid out all those various elements. The issue is what I sated in my previous sentence, above."

I do think that the clarity of the image seems off, everything looks blurry. Which is okay for the background areas, but not for the main focal point, the flowers, for me they should have crisper looking feel to them.

Thank you very much for your thoughtful review and critical input. The blurriness was intended because I wanted to paint how I the the plants, meaning how the flowers appears to me. I do not see clear detail when looking at wildflowers without using a magnifying glass. Do you? Nevertheless, it seems it does not look the same to the viewers as it does to me. I will look into the issue. :o)
