Helicopter ride?! So jealous! What a great photo! Very good clarity and lighting in this shot. The depth of field, of course, is fantastic. Well done framing the falls with the surrounding land. Love it!

a great and outstanding capture from above, avoiding some of the building seen in the bg who spoil the beauty of the falls;

This is a very interesting picture that presents us the Niagara Falls from a point of view from which I never seen it before. Overall, this is a beautiful panoramic shot with perfect focus and lighting. Not only this is very eye appealing,but there is a lot to see in this picture and, for that reason, it keeps our interest.

The only way to fly. I did this in San Francisco. The Golden Gate is very cool from above. This is a fabulous scene of one of my favorite locations for a weekend road trip. The lighting and crop bring this to life.

A beautiful aerial view over the Horse Shoe falls with the maid of the mist full of expectant visitors in their blue ponchos approaching the fall that appears to be in full spate with the rising mist being blown up over the falls & hiding parts of the rim. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & shar focus..only thing missing are the roar of falling water & the squeals of the Maid's passengers.

Excellent capture taken from a helicopter of the impressive Falls. I love the angle of this showing the mighty water cascading down, creating the wonderful splash and spray and then mist. Very good lighting and focus. Impressive composition. Suzanne

Now I know exactly what I have to do the next time I go there!!! Helicopter! LOL - This is the grand perfection I was looking for and could not get last time I was there. Fabulous. Great natural color with some powerful and controlled lighting in the falls. Wonderful image with every spot around the falls wonderfully placed. Thanks for sharing.

    Glad you enjoyed the shot and many thanks for your nice review. Yes, its very worthwhile flying over in a helicopter both to see the falls from different viewpoints and for photography!

Cool,Nikman!
These iconic waterfalls always provide an interesting sight and your aerial capture of 'Maid of the Mist' driving in towards the rushing cataract is a pleasantly dramatic scene indeed!
