A very eye pleasing scene. The subtle colors are easy on the senses and the two patches of yellow add a touch of drama to the composition. Your after photo work is exceptionally well done ~ Steve

really gorgeous image. very well conceived and executed in such wonderful colour tones. this one has a special texture applied to the petals and overall is a very pleasant bloon (x2). i have not heard of this species but might have seen it before on my travels. again nature always puts together the best colour combos and your work really represents this particular aspect.

Thank you much for another encouraging review. The flowers are relatively small, less than an inch. It is a creeping species, it might lay on the ground, but also climbs if it has some support.

I like the textures and intricate designs achieved with these effects. The depth is nice and the arrangement is visually pleasing. I like how the yellow centers jump off the page.

Nice work on this colorful plant I always like blues and yellows together like this. Your choice in mixed media works well with almost sponge like textured leaves in subtle lighting. Interesting exhibit.

Excellent choice of subject.
Dreamy & visually soothing...
Fine features & textures.
Is there a clear distinction between noisy & grainy?
For me, this one has a grainy overtone but it looks aesthetic to me...
Subdued lighting! Diffused focusing. Compact framing. Thanks for sharing...

Thank you very much for your encouraging comments.
I do not know if there is a difference between noisy and grainy. But there is a difference on how it comes into the picture. It could come accidentally into a photo with wrong settings of the camera or too much cropping. It also can be introduced in purpose to a painting or a photo. If it is a mixed media photo this is usually done with filters, but might be also due to an excessive use of color adjustments. In painting certain brush stroke techniques are used or the paint is mixed with grainy particles. Sometimes sand or glitter is dusted over the still wet colors. The possibilities are as many as an inventive artist can imagine.
