Just beautiful with just the hint of sky through the trees. So dense and lush with lily pads floating in the water. The water reflecting vertically the trunks of the background trees complementing the vertical grass in the forefront is perfect. Lovely.

I don;t think so! i see that big guy basking in the sun. And there is probably a Burmese Python or two slithering around somewhere in the vicinity. So, thanks anyway. lol

a very nice pond supergold , as I enjoy seeing the alligator sunning in what looks like a path.
as I love the darker water like cedar water but darker as the trees get the moss on them adding to the everglades. nice job.
always,
ron

your welcome, as it gives me memories of florida and going thru heavier conditions as at night would see a ton of gators with there red eyes. :-)

Very fine capture of this landscape. Nice dof, focus is very clean and clear. Nice exposure on the lily pads and the moss. Nice subtle lighting too. As far as swimming there, I would not want to bother the frogs and the word everglades really says stay out of the water. Nice job and thanks for sharing.

NO! You are in the Everglades. Gator country! With my opinion stated, lets get back to the review. Great light, colors and focus. The crop is good and the refection on the water adds good DOF. Since I don't see any ripples, I think you are safe for a bit. :)

The photo has lots of detail preserved in it, which I think is great, including the background too. Also great contrast indicating the bright sunlight in the background. I like the diversity here, with the water, trees, and the background.

I don't think I would like to swim there even if the place looks very inviting. After all the place is known for gators. LOL The scenery is lovely though, and you have pictured it well.

Your photo is also nice and sharp showing well defined details in the vegetation, and the exposure is perfect.

I also think the photo is nicely cropped and it is a fine balance in the composition. A truly lovely and well taken photo, and with a very good DOF.

Beautiful spot but not for swimming! I like the angle you used with the water showing the clear reflections of the surrounding trees and foliage and just a touch of blue sky to add contrast. Lighting and focus very good. Lovely composition. Suzanne

Ha! No swimming...Gators hang out at the bottom to keep cool or stay warm...Which ever fits the weather of the day.
The Spanish Moss I learned Floridians refer to as the Bearded old man hanging from trees.
Nice capture with the spatterdock leaves floating on top of water.
Nice Capture Fred!
