A beautiful little swimming hole if you are an alligator or even a bass. Not quite the lily pads at Giverny but quite elegant in the winter light.

Yes sir... beautiful spot... No sir... I'm not gonna swim there!!! I think I see a gator mid frame to the right... Aaaargh. Wonderful exposure here with grand natural color and perfect lighting. Great details over the frame as well. Very nice spot. Thanks for sharing...

Is that a gator???

LOL. Really? Can you see the alligators? Nice swimming place for beavers and birds. Nice photo with good lighting and focus. Great depth. Good show of the reflection in the water. This is a great habitat for birds. Thanks for sharing.

Fred,
A beautiful & very peaceful picture of the tree line Everglades with Spanish moss hanging down from the trees & these then reflected on the water's surface. I'm not sure but I think I can see an Alligator on the far bank partially hidden. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

    Fred,
I guessed that was the reason for your question.

An interesting picture. This reminds me my experiences in Borneo. Scenery like this is common. But I will not swim: snake and crocodile like this more than I do...

Well done and thanks for sharing.

Depends on what else might be lurking around in there! Your nice landscape has a good composition, it's sharp and well exposed. Nice job!

    thanks again
    would you swim here ???
reply by csimmons032 on 17-Jan-2017
You're welcome and I don't know about that lol :) I very rarely swim in lakes and I don't have much of a desire to swim in a pond cause I know how dirty they probably have to be.

    the water is very clean.........
but there is another problem: look again at the bg, right
reply by csimmons032 on 17-Jan-2017
Wow I didn't even see the crocodile in the corner, or is it an alligator? I had to take a second look at it. I definitely wouldn't swim in there then lol.
