This painting is truly wonderful. It really captures the scene because it is so detailed and lifelike. Your strokes are so perfectly and confidently done. An amazing piece of artwork. Kudos.

Suzanne,
This deserves a SIX but sadly I've spent them all. A beautiful windy moonlit night scene in the cove with that huge wave breaking over the rocks on the right then, retreating with a hiss as the moon & the wind play on the tidal currents tossing salty spray into the air that I can taste on my lips & hear the roar in my ears. The silver light of the moon peeping in & out of the breaks in the clouds adds atmosphere. Beautiful living composition, created with very skilful brushwork, choice, blending & application of your colours bringing this scene to life.

Like, simple image, simple bi-chromatic coloration, economy of effort but it works. The two colors play off of each other well, the image does an excellent job of conveying the title, visually pleasant, well executed. Just nice..

This has class with a lot of
moment detail which commands you to look and study the work of art. There is so much blue but makes the piece dress well. The horizon is my favor part . All in all well done.

Lovely shades of blue in your painting, and I like all the motion and texture, too. The brownish item in the left corner is worrying me. Driftwood? Rock? Or a lost dog? It looks too much like an animal for me to hang this on my wall!

Oh, to be standing upon this shore, gazing at the moon, peeking from behind the clouds. To breath deeply of the evenings' misty air. The gentle rumbling of the waves, lulling my soul. This is what your painting conjures up within my soul. Beautiful.

The blue moonlight has a profound effect on the seascape. The textures of the oils gives a nice feel of motion. The DOF is also excellent. The rolling waves have their own life and I can almost hear the crashing waves. Beautiful work.

a very nice color blue painting, as I enjoy thre many blues you have encorperated as the moon and reflection bounce of the water.
a nice wave about to crash as you did a great job of the water flowing back in. great job. good luck.

No hesitation in giving this work six stars. So realistic, wonderful and true colours, great movement, excellent 'noise'. Your composition and shading are spot on. I have tackled the moon in several works which can be seen in my portfolio and appreciate what you have done here - no many use its properties - well done, Ronnie

this is a lovely creation with oils to produce a beautiful seascape . You have captured the movement of the waves lapping up onto the sands where you have thinned out the waters to continue that movement as the waves break. The colours are glorious throughout and your techniques for the clouds are very bob ross like ...well done
