The decision of using red & yellow hues was very smart. It tells us how masculine and determined this flower truly is.
It can tolerate Mother Nature's wickedness.

The mind recognized and appreciates the true color and preciousness of the flower indicating the fragile and gentle side of the flower.

It is funny how Mother Nature can both destroy this beautiful flower without a moments notice. And nourish it, without a second thought.

Excellent photo manipulation.
Great choice of hues & lighting.
Very well planned & thought out piece.

Very well done!! You captured this rose in it's spectacular beauty and the lighting and shadows enhance it wonderfully. However I think the wooden post in the background takes away from the single rose but who am I to tell you how to arrange your garden! Overall, a very nice photo!!

I feel that the wooden post just shows how strong the flower is. It has the ability to tolerate the weather just as the wooden post did.

This is so pretty and delicate looking. I like the effect of nostalgia that the sepia toning has given this image. You've captured the water droplets perfectly. This would make a lovely print to matte and frame for a bedroom. Very nice.

This shot has a nice composition. The sepia is nice. I just can't decide how much it improved the shot. I look forward to seeing more of your work.
