I notice in many of your photos you look like you explore lots of different land. So maybe there's stories behind them. I think it's great how you travel so much and take risks to photo these animals.

Are those my only choices? Those are some fearsome looking teeth there. The better to tear you limb from limb I guess.
Carry a lot of paddles? A very cool picture. Thanks !

You wouldn't catch me there! He must get a lot of calcium and fluoride in his diet to have such white teeth. Tee hee Excellently framed and superb focus.

No you don't Mr. or/Mrs. crocodile, matter-of-fact what life enjoying dentist would venture to treat you without a 1/2 ton or so of sedative. (:-)
All joking aside, this is indeed an outstanding image of this animal.
In its natural habitat it is so interesting to see.
There is so much texture in the croc and also its surroundings that the photo comes to life.
Really interesting to view.
Superb work!

a great head shot supergold. as I love the zoom in on it as it looks a bit annoyed as the jaws are pretty wide open showing how powerful it could be. great clarity showing it's surroundings as it is a pleasure to view.
always,

This should be a six. The opportunity to shot this big fellow has to have been an adrenalin rush. Having the motor quit would not good nor would having to wade to shore. Lighting, focus and cropping takes a big bit out of making this an almost perfect shot. How close where you to him.

Fred, I shudder thinking of you on this little jaunt in Crocodile infested waters.
but you did a great job of capturing this croc in his natural settings. I'll bet he is waiting for the boat that fails ;)
