Lovely ! Perfect timing catching this wingspan. Lines of the wings, and ripples of the water are well-defined. Great exposure, showing natural colors. A refreshing wildlife scene.

This is some wing span. I never realized that they used these to ward off the glare on the water. It is fascinating to watch them in action. We have many egrets here in Florida, but mostly white ones. This is very different.

ha! would loved to have seen his face, but, what great stop action in the wings. Nicely done with some great blue stuff swirling around him :)
Go, Fred!

excellent capture of the ripples and the light on the water and if the bird was not giving me it's back this could be an excelellent shot
good colors and tones

It's a nice Capture of those wings up for shading Fred. You handled the bright sun well enough but you do have over exposure on the wing we see on the left in a small area.
Here is where full manual settings along with white balance would avoid this.
But due to the rarity of this bird being seen and Photographed I give full marks.
Nice Capture of bird I love and hope to find on our next trip North where we found the Juvenile.

Beautiful capture. I love the elegant arc of the wings. Again, your focus is so good you can see the rocks under the water. To me it looks like the bird is walking on water. Great job.

What an absolutely wonderful shot. I love the detail over this egrets wings AND the capture of the water movement! Great focus. The colors over the frame are wonderfully natural and the lighting grandly played. Thanks so much for sharing.
