I think this is a great use of color not only in the flowers but how it is also in the background. The highlights are spot on and really gathers the interest of the eye very quickly..The Details in the background that are very impressionist like but include the oranges and green. Very nice.

simply stunning shot...the chiaroscuro technique being used at its best with a fantastic light tone sweeping in from the dark across the subject ...its awesome to the eye and certainly one worth putting onto canvas with oils

The highlighted edges of the petals add so much beauty to these flowers. The lines look painted in place but very natural and the edges sparkle. The blended background is attractive too.
