I do like the silhouette against the blue sky. Nice focus showing the outline of feathers. That is a nice moment and thanks for sharing. Crows are one of my hardest bird to photograph due to they are black and always has shadows.

Now that is an interesting shot sg. Love that you got them both singing and so perfectly silhouetted against the pale blue sky.
The Crows around my place make a ton of noise but LOL I have never thought of it as 'singing' Maybe I need to listen more carefully once they come back in the spring??
Definitely a unique shot. I like it!

Fantastic Capture Fred!
I love the uniqueness of the two singing, the blue sky with white clouds, the detailed silhouette on both birds and the way they are looking upwards with beaks open.
Nice work Fred!!

Wonderful shot of these two grandly controlling the frame. Singing you say... lol - I know exactly what that sounds like. Fabulous camera techs with great lighting for the silhouette. Wonderful color as well. Thanks for sharing.

a nice catch , supergold.
as I enjoy the sky as the crows have a silhouette going on. great timing catching them both singing as they look up.
as the roof gets me a bit thinking it is heavy canvas above a porch.
thank you for sharing.
always,
ron

It is fine to greet a new day with a song. The silhouettes are sufficient to show the enthusiasm of the crows. Great composition and a fine sky for a background.

Fred,
A wonderful picture of the silhouetted bird singing in unison against an almost clear blue sky head turned up as if praying to their "God" or warning of approaching danger! Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.
From their silhouette shapes I think they are Starlings, their beaks are too fine for a Crow.
