A beautiful peaceful & atmospheric picture of the silhouetted Gull flying high across the colourful flame coloured dawn sky, the colours changing by the second as you watch; your frozen finger on the shutter button. glad you take that away from it as that is what I look for my other site as some are inbound and enjoy seeing new ones every day, as it is nice to hear it changed someone's mood that morning priceless. :-)

and the trigger finger was getting cold but had to stay until blowout accrued.

Yes peace and serenity maybe the distant sound of waves sneaking up beach at their own pace then this lone gull passes to add more reasons to lay further back and take all in.What I also like here is no obvious horizon but do we need to know. Who cares. Peace is given to us from you. Like the bird we just float along.

glad you can feel the peace of a great colored morning.
it would have been nice to hear waves but the ice pack made for a cold morning.
glad you enjoy the peaceful look of the seagull as it glided looking for a dry place to land.

Very nice colors. I like the striped pattern they make across the sky and the bird in the scene makes a nice secondary subject which adds a bit more interest to the scene.

yes it can be very peaceful as the sky waits for the sun, as I share them with my other site.
