Robins in your part of the world are so colorful, tiny and cute. You did a nice job getting a clear shot of his face and the colors and markings stand out well. I like the oval view into the scene.

dont worry for him: he certainly had more than enough food;
good oval framing, but would be better with more space in front;

Very cute birds we don't have here in the Philippines!
They look like cartoon characters on Walt Disney animations.
Impressive mixed media rendition.
Excellent colors & textures.
Interesting modification.
Great lighting & oval framing. Thanks for sharing!

That is a very nice shot, Susan. Focus, lighting and clarity really makes this a very nice sight to see. The contrast/colors really adds to this little one. What a difference between your robins and ours. Nice work and thanks for sharing.

Thanks a million for your review on this cheeky Robin.
Yes the European Robin is very different to the American Rob first its only about the size of a House Sparrow & is in fact a loner & a Flycatcher.
Our Blackbird, Turdus Merula is more closely related to your Robin, Turdus Migratious both members of the Thrush Bird Family,

a very peaceful shot , Susan.
as the European Robin has great colors to it.
nice clarity as it's head is tilted but hanging on pretty strong.
a soft border that to me works well with the background color. nice job.
always,
ron

Ron,
Thanks a million for your complementary review.
Sadly for America the Pilgrim Fathers failed to bring over the Robin, with the House Sparrow, Starling & Pigeon when they sailed to America...Feeling lost they espied a Red breasted Thrush(Turdus Migratious) & named it after The European Robin (Eritacus rubecula ) they'd left behind it's only the size of a Sparrow & except in the breeding season it's guards a territory & chases off intruders who dare to enter. Unlike the American Robin that can be seen in flocks.(At least that's what I saw in Berkley Ca. when I visited)
