Wood fence? I'm surprised the waves don't smash it apart! The motion of the water is realistic yet artistic and the variations of blue are very nice. Excellent perspective too!

What a wonderful painting. You have such a wonderful talent. Great colors and details in this. One can almost imagine standing on the cliff overlooking this scene, feeling the spray of the water against your face and the chill of the wind blowing around you. Nice work. I wish I still had a SIX star rating for this its living & breathing & brings me right back to watching the North Sea on a windy & probably wet day lashing the shore & bashing against the wooden Groyne or Breakwater & then retreating to build up the next wave to coming crashing it. Artistic composition with a love & knowledge of the sea's movement & the ability to paint it. Created with VERY skilful brushwork, beautiful choice, blending & application of your colours. Good luck in the contest.

I wish I still had a SIX star rating for this its living & breathing & brings me right back to watching the North Sea on a windy & probably wet day lashing the shore & bashing against the wooden Groyne or Breakwater & then retreating to build up the next wave to coming crashing it. Artistic composition with a love & knowledge of the sea's movement & the ability to paint it. Created with VERY skilful brushwork, beautiful choice, blending & application of your colours. a great painting of flowing water.
as I enjoy the wave action as the old piling jetty is so high out of the water as you notice the extra sand behind it as it helps the cliffs from erosion.
as you painted the waves just before crashing giving you painting a sense of the power of the sea.
a nice skyline as it blends nicely with the water. thank you for sharing.

Oh my! This is super nice! The diagonal lines the breakwater just leads the viewer into the roiling sea.
Your painting is realistic and I like many elements about it... the sand, ski, and even that ocean mist was very well done.
