A beautiful picture of a wood framed house I say was built in the 1890s or earl 1900s judging by the style similar to my great grandparents house in Detroit that was built in the same style in 1890/95
& still stands today. Beautiful sunlit composition beautifully framed with the trees on either side framing it. Taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

thanks Susan for this inspiring review You are right, most of the houses here were built in the late 1800.

a very nice contest entry.
as I love all the details this house has to offered and all the time as it still looks great for it's age.
as I like the spot taken from as the sun is not much of a factor but makes the house pretty bright to enjoy it. thank you for sharing.
good luck.

I am so happy to hear that you have started selling with fineartamerica. Is this an honest website? I haven't started posting yet. Is there a yearly fee? How about create.com. Is that good, too? I received some orders, but I also want to have my images framed and ready for sale if I do an exhibit. Last year, I did a 2-months one month exhibit, without reception, just to display my works in public. It was well-received, but now I am really on the marketing aspects of it. I think, if fineartamerica can sell our images, it is better, because they do all the selling. Glad to know, that you are almost done with school. I am still busy with my three kids, 16, 15 and 11. Hoping to have another vacation this Summer. Maybe, Australia and New Zealand. I am not active in fanartreview, and just enjoy spending a lot of my free time in the pool. Please give me some inputs about fineartamerica. Maybe, I will give it a try. Take care and you stay warm.

It's a beautiful house. I love the reddish brown rooftop and the fish-scale shingles on the side. This photograph was taken at just the right angle to really bring out the spirit of this home.
