An interesting shot of the flowing water indeed! ! You have framed it well. The subdued light and colour and the composition have worked well. Good effort!

    Hi GaliaG,
no it does not smell, as it is brackish/cedar water as long as you do not wear white or good clothes.
as it acts like a dye and 5 minutes your white shirt will turn to a rust/brown look you see in the water and not come out.
actually people love it for the hot summer as it is colder water plus a few places are big enough for canoe trips.
I never heard of people getting sick from it as you would swallow some horsing around.
but all the lakes are like that around here or 40 miles inland sink into the ground as south jersey has the biggest water aquifer underground for the east coast.
glad you enjoy it as the grey day still let me show the natural color of the water and ground.
thank you for viewing and your kind review.

    Hi supergold,
I was about 5 ft. above the water as it does not get muddy just fine sand and small rocks.
glad you enjoy the movement of the water, as it must be neat on heavy rain days.
thank you for viewing and your kind review.

Great photography. I love that the flow of the water is so realistic you can actually imagine hearing the sound of it as it rushes toward its next destination. Great detail. Great clarity, focus and depth. Excellent use of layers. Nice work. Thank you so much for sharing.

    Hi LadyMarie,
glad you enjoy it and can séance the rush of the water.
the water is 10 ft before the bridge before going to twenty before a 6 ft creek 25 ft from the bridge.
and about a foot and a half deep.
thank you for your insightful review and rating.

The flowing water gives movement and action within the scene. The crop gives us the focal point of the scene which is full of power. Lighting is fine and focus has stopped the action very well.

Good picture representing rushing water. Nice contest entry. The force of the flow is well captured here. Also nicely composed with the focus area in the top quarter of the frame. Nice job!

    Hi rgregoire,
glad you enjoy it as it had a good rush but could get bigger.
I was hoping so as I do have more creeks but a slower flow.
thank you for the insight of the photo.
thank you, for viewing and kind review.

Your focus, framing, and lighting are all good. I could be wrong, but it seems like this system would help a lot with flooding. I certainly hope so. You did a great job :) Well done and thanks for sharing :)

    Hi csimmons,
glad you enjoy them as I just cropped it.
the lake surrounding beach is about the height of the bulkhead as this helps but a few heavy days of rain may see flooding as some areas are flat. yes it does it's job well and has a bigger creek from the flow.
thank you, glad you enjoy viewing it and you kind review.

You've captured the power of the water creating such turbulence. Nicely framed and focused. Well balanced. The light gray background is perfect. Good job.

    Hi Gail,
glad you enjoy the power and turbulence as 18 inches of water flow with power thru the small opening.
glad you enjoy it as I though the grey shies may be an issue.
yes the lake had the grey color as the water coming thru shows the real color.
thank you for viewing and your kind review.
