I don't really follow politics. But I agree that lumping everyone from a country or religion into all-good or all-bad categories is lazy and bigoted. I can't say if these are accurate or not, since I don't watch the news and don't know what they look like. But the artistry and shading is excellent.

Very good pencil rendition of these two awesome ladies. Nice depth with your shadow work and wonderful capture in their facial expressions. Excellent feeling of movement in the hair with the little stragglers on the edges. A pleasure to view . Well done!

Interesting info - I personally don't have a single moment watching the news so.... Your ladies have grand power. The looks on those faces and the strength of your drawing are both quite grand. The attitudes jump to us grandly, with fabulous power. The moment in time perfectly given to us. Strength and determination! Thanks for sharing.

Very good portrait of these two ladies and I think you've captured their personalities well. I like the way you've shown the different textures of skin, hair and clothes with your pencils. Very good use of light and shade. Great composition. Suzanne
