Fine eye clarity with bonus catch light, great white balance control on all colors, fine focus head to tail...Just a tad soft by the Beak.
Love the softened background.. Careful to make the tool small enough to trace around the beak without softening your subject.
I see major improvements on your bird photography lately!!

In a technical sense this one is nicer than the male because of the softer light and the nice natural setting. The colors are very attractive and the catchlight in the eye is excellent.

Grace, what a beautiful bird and I love her name!
Her colors are incredible and reminds me of fairy wings. Although the eye clarity is perfect and all you really need, I find myself wanted to see the whole bird in focus, especially that beak.
but I do love her very much, so no points minus.

Thank you Eileen! I actually may have gotten too close to her beak while softening the edges a little...so minus points would have been in order for my mistake, meaning I would have understood - thank you for the nice review :)

The eye of the bird is always the goal of bird photographers. You nailed it here~ !
Framing has the branch moving diagonally through the screen and the bird head exactly placed where it gets attention while the bird body is a bit to the right. Again...perfection...detail, color, light and shadows..a framer!

Your focus is spot on and sharp showing really clear and well defined details in every part of the bird, and it is nothing wrong with the exposure either. The colors are crisp and clear.

Thank you very much! The male has vivid blue iridescent feathers that are quite stunning - but I think the female has nice color too :)
