Mary,
A beautiful picture of the Ducks in flight over the trees & three above them in the sky Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

nice capture. the clarity is great. the angle of the shot of flock in the air is great. the capture of the light is great. the image is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall

Grand bit of power over the frame. These fellows/ladies are busy moving on and you have captured it well. Great natural color and wonderful lighting. Thanks for sharing.

It's fun to view each duck in a different stages of flight here. You tracked them pretty well to get so many of them in the shot with nice stop action. Some of the tail feathers really stand out well even with the distance of the shot. Good timing!

How lovely to have caught the three above the tree line for they stand out beautifully. It is a pity that the ones against the trees are lost visually. However, it is what it is at that particular moment.

Thanks Olga, there were several flypasts as we were in the bird hide and unfortunately this was the only one where they made the skyline, frustrating as a photographer but the avid bird watchers were delighted as they were a little closer for them to count. LOL :)

Great capture of the flying Ducks, Mary. I like that you caught the three above the trees providing contrast to the others who are almost hidden amongst the lush foliage. Very good lighting and focus. Lovely composition. Suzanne

captured and presented well, with nice structure to the shot, fortunately for you three of the ducks stand out more so than the others otherwise it may have been a different story as these three ducks catch the viewers eye.

Perfect timing!
Well timed still motion shot!
Verdant overtone!
Too bad only 3 were flying up with the overcast sky as backdrop.
Thanks for sharing...

Thanks Dick, yes there were a couple of takeoffs whilst we were in bird hide but this was only one where some got over tree line.
