This is probably one of the best shots I have seen of yours. Your focus, dof, lighting and clarity are on the money. The detail you have captured in this shot is just amazing. The flowing water, the moss on the rocks, the fern, the ridge on the left, the tress and the rocks the water rushes over is a sight to hold. Very nice moment and thanks for sharing.

    Neil,
Thanks a million for your great review on this river in full spate after lots of rain. In summer it's little more than a stream.

Great POV, fine focus, nice stop action and great colors and details.
I like the angle of the shot framed out by moss covered rocks, greenery and trees.

Susan, you have a very nice shot here of the River Dargle.

I really like how the waters flow half way stopped action and halfway with a nice fluidity.

Your colors are of course gorgeous as I'm sure most of the countryside there must be.

Very nice image Susan.

Cool,Susan!
This view of the river ( which we'd probably call a 'Kill' over here in the once Dutch colony that's now known as New York state! ) makes for a perfectly attractive woodland scene,my friend, and ( having been fascinated with German military history for a long time! ) your mention of a German Military Cemetery makes me want to hear more about that!

Thanks a million for your great review & the SIX star rating.
I've cut & pasted one of the web sites about the cemetery.
If you look back through my portfolio you will find other photos of it taken last spring & summer.

Never knew that there was a German cemetery in Ireland! Quite a nice landscape shot presented here. It has an excellent composition, with fine exposure and sharpness. Well done!

Thanks a million for your great review.
Yes the Cemetery contains Germans lost during both wars.
Some died while been interned in Ireland. Another group drowned at sea on their way to internment in Canada, the boat was torpedoed by a GERMANS. off Northern Ireland. I think there were a few who were shot down & there is a Spy who took his own life when his cover was revealed & he feared being sent back to Germany.
If you Google Military Cemetery at Glencree quite a few sites come up on it.

The river and the surrounding nature look truly lovely and you have pictured it so well. I especially like your POV making the little river into a perfect leading line bringing the viewer into the composition. You have also captured the flow of water in the most excellent way.

Your photo is also crisp and clear and it is such fine details to be seen both in the mossy rocks and the trees. The exposure is just perfect, and the colors so nice and natural.

The format and framing is perfect and it is a indeed a good flow and balance in the composition. I also like the way the river is doing a little turn at the top, because this raises the viewers curiosity to what is around the bend. A truly lovely and well taken photo Susan, and with an excellent DOF.
