Wonderful image - what grabs me right away is your grand capture of the water movement -WOW! Great natural color and lighting over the frame. Perfect focus. Wonderfully placed in the frame as well. Thanks for sharing.

What a perfectly serene, peaceful location you've captured! I love the angle from which you shot this. The natural lighting and the way the river runs off the corner of the photo are great. Beautiful!!

I like the angle you used for this lovely shot, Susan, showing the water of the River Dargle cascading towards you over the rocks between the mossy bank and trees. Very good lighting and focus showing great clarity. I like the frame you added. Lovely composition. Suzanne

Suzanne,
Thanks a million for your great review & kind words. I could not have driven there the day before because the road there was closed due to snow...yesterday all that was left was some ice & snow in the ditches.

A very nice scene. I especially like the moss covered stones and the bit of a stone wall in the background. Very nice composition with great colors.

Mike,
Thanks a million for your complementary review.
It was one of those days I just HAD to get away from home after been holed up due to the rain for almost a week.

Wow! A literally cool capture of this refreshing flowing water caressing every stone on its way.
Verdant mossy bank is visually soothing as accentuates the image well.
Diminishing perspective leads us to the farther end.
Great depth is created by the vanishing viewpoint.
Long DOF & well illuminated.
Thanks!

Very reminiscent to Scotland in its rich green surrounds due to lots of rain and sometimes duller days.Like your stance for taking this pic as it tumbles fast towards us from narrow entry at rear. The moss covered rocks on bank with trees, grass and ferns opposite demonstrates the course of this river as it slowly wears and grinds it down over many years. Well captured.

Donald,
Thanks a million for your great review. Yes it would remind one of Scotland. It's difficult to get the light right on a sunny day .

a very good capture of this tiny river leading the eye; taken at a relatively low shutter speed giving this miky aspect;
nice greenery around;
on the left, the wall of the cemetery;
