Oh Suzanne I love the beauty and mystery you have created in this piece. I further admire the overall texture I can pick up off the canvas. The Splashing waves create a line leading line which escorts our eyes to the horizon where we are pleased with both full moon and lighthouse. Highlights are very realistic and effective. Very beautiful night seascape painting That you have painted. Excellent detail revealing a wonderful talent for painting a close relationship to the sea. Demonstrated by color in waves by sand and reflection of moon light of all elements. Excellent framing, wave action bringing that you brought to life. Thank You for sharing.

This is so gorgeous! Such rich, lovely blues and greens. The wave in the foreground makes for an excellent composition and is beautifully rendered. The light on the sea is so well done! The one criticism I have is that it's a little dark and I really feel that if the moon were brighter it would make a big difference. Overall though, nicely done!

First of all, congratulations on the win. This is a stunning scene. The effects of the moon on the seascape is spot on. I have spent time at midnight with a full moon at our local lighthouse. The feeling is amazing as is your artwork. The curl of the waves catching the light and showing of the colors is so realistic. Even though the lighthouse is tiny, the solid foundation of the lighthouse gives the true feeling of a seascape. Nice work.

Very cool painting! What type of water mixable oils are they? Love the moon lit sky and the lighthouse lit by the moon gives it great depth! The ocean swells are done very well. the foreground is the big wave!! Love that.

A fantastic painting and well deserved winner of the competition - brilliantly created night scene using dark shades and tones of blue and green for the sky and sea, and parts of the shoreline with the white lighthouse standing out clearly and boldly, adding perspective and depth to the painting.
