I figure you probably got wet. I haven't been there in YEARS! This is an exceptional find, i should think. The color is great; the mist is awesome, and the water swirling below near frightening! Beautiful composition. The curve of the falls passed along perfectly from photographer to viewer.

Great capture of the blue green hues in the water as its crests the falls edge. Love the turmoil it shows as the water flows away from the mist at the base of the falls.Great sky color and overall composition. Nice Job!

Ooohhh...difficult shot Nik w/ all that mist AND at dusk...and interesting that from where you stood the available light gives completely different looks to either side of the falls.....it has a lavender cast on the left side but not the right. Must be due to seeing it through all that mist, no??
Nice job on the water in front. Color is good there and you've definitely captured the turmoil of all that roiling water very well. I'm curious...about how far away were you from the falls? I have no idea how close the observation deck is. Excellent title and interesting image. It almost looks like two different shots doesn't it....and they meet where the mist obscures the waterfalls. Bet it was really loud too!

Your detailed and kind review is much appreciated. Yes, I think it was the combined effect of the mist and dusk that produced different colours on the left hand side. Hard to remember just how far away I was but I think it was not that far off.

I think fog and mist are the hardest subjects to capture effectively and you have done a fine job with this one. I like the clarity of the water and the way the mist obscures the falls. A fine shot.
