Xoxoxo...another one of yours. Beautiful perspective. Plain gray background fits this black and yellow fellow. Focus is great. This guy is adorable in color and beak design.

Very well done and thanks for sharing.

Fabulous close-up of this smaller toucan. Small maybe but as with bigger cousins this one keeps the big solid beak reputation. Colours and detail come out well and as you explain in intro my attention is drawn to serrations on bill. Very saw edged look.

You are making me Green with envy Grace! You are finding birds I have never had the chance to see.
This is a fine capture of this handsome Aracari. Love the pose, that large bill, red eye and fine yellow chest.
You have superb camera techs showing fine exposure, focus and details.
Atta girl Grace!!!;)

Although they are considered small for Toucans they are still quite large birds by the look of this one and the size of its beak. Stunning vibrant coloring and against the grey background it really pops. Wonderful focus and composition. :) Mary

Does he look like a cross between a hornbill & woodpecker?
Excellent choice of subject.
He is more yellow than green to me.
Outrageous powerful beak that can tear a prey apart!
Cloudless pale blue sky lends a perfect backdrop that pops out the subject nicely.
Great dynamic framing with a twist!
Thanks for sharing...

Thank you very much! He has more green on his back than this side - but I like the yellow :)

Indeed an impressive and colorful bird with the large beak and the vibrant yellow feathers. The bird is of course also standing out really well against the sky, and is posing so lovely for you.

Your photo is of course also nice and sharp showing such clear and well defined details in every part of the bird, and the exposure is perfect.

So is the cropping and the placement of the bird within the frame, which makes for a good and well balanced composition. Indeed a lovely and well taken photo and with an excellent DOF.
