Where do you keep finding all the different birds? Really a nice composition. Focus allows me to see all the details as well as the lighting does. Nice job on the white balance. You keep posting birds I have never heard of much less seen. Nice work and thanks for sharing.

In my view you have posted here a bird portrait that easily deserves a 6! But I have run out unfortunately!! Your full and central composition gives us an excellent look at your bird. The fine exposure and sharpness you achieved ensure that we can enjoy lots of good detail. Well done!

Grace, he is very nice! His colors are so beautiful and that beak is something that looks like could crack a nut nicely :)

This is a very nice photo Grace. I like the colors and details especially on the face and beak. The placement of the bird in the scene is spot on (nice job of cropping). The background allows the bird to grab the eye and want to look closer. Very well done Grace ~ Steve
