What an inspirational biography you have. As they say, "Attitude is everything." I'm glad you can now hear again. To me your photo depicts every living thing has it's purpose and everything that happens it's reason. Your focus, detail, framing and lighting are excellent. Great job.

A beautiful photo. The ladybug really seems to be enjoying that delicious meal.
I love the angle that photo is taken at. Great colors and closeup work as well.

This shot excels in your composition and angle that you have on the bug. The fact that we can see the face makes the photo appealing. The tight crop with plain, green background makes the bug stand out well. My only issue is that your focus is a bit soft. However, your exposure and color are very good and I really like the highlights on the bug.

Thank you for your review. I wanted to enhance this little critter but it made the green appear fake. I was blessed to get several of these so more will be posted. Blessings to you Eva~

I can well understand your keenness to get springtime shots! The image you have presented here has good composition and fine exposure. I do feel, however, that it is somewhat out of focus. Otherwise, good shot!

Dear N, thank you for your honest review. I think I was so excited to capture the aphaid rather than the ladybug. Just need to keep refining my craft. Blessings to you my friend~

Thank you Happy, I so love your name. Thank you for your review. I wanted to bring more green out but it looked artificial. I was more excited about the aphaid over the ladybug. I was blessed capturing more shots to post later. Blessings to you Always~

Fabulous shot of the incredibly small. There are people like myself who have invested no small sum on cameras and lens combinations just to get what you got with and iPhone. What a country!

Your shot has better visible detail than most low-to-mid range $ Macros Lens.

Really nice shot - good luck in the contest ... B-)) Bob

Dear Bob, thank you so very much for your honest and uplifting review. Funny you should talk about big real cameras. I so want the Nikion D900 with built in zoom to 2000. I never have had a real camera. Just iphone and iPad lucky. I like a challenge. Blessings to you Always~

Photography can motivate one to grow, it's only natural. I can't/won't recommend a camera, because from entry level to high end each companies par product will perform about the same. But some advice I got from a seasoned veteran photog that served me well - Try it on for size, find a camera at your price level and hold it. Ask yourself, How does it feel in my hand. If the camera feels like you have to look at it to make sure its in your hand correctly, or that you might drop it, move on. Fit is everything, because you and the camera will be as one for a long time ... B-)) Bob

Thank you for your words of advice. You are very wise and I thank you so very much for taking time to help me. It will be a huge step to go to a real camera. When I am ready I will always remember " Words of Wisdom from Bob ". For now my family and some neighbors think I am Crazy. Not in the head but to stoop, bend and twist with my little iPhone. I don't care. I am having so much fun. There is a camera store near us that lets you rent cameras. It is near the Univerisity. I think I will go that route before I jump and by. I completely forgot about the shop til you said hold it and feel it. For this and your words of wisdom I really Thank You Bob! Blessings to you Always ~ Cindy Sue ~

Cindy Sue, don't sell that little iPhone short. Having fun just taking pictures of what's around you is the most sublime expression of photography. You are at your most creative when you're just having fun - don't ever lose that. "Crazy" I've seen a sample of your work, Bubala, crazy is working for you. Keep shooting, set higher standards, and never leave your camera more than an arms length away ... B-)) Bob

You should be a life coach. You words and wisdom are like a huge pep talk to the soul. Yes! I always do carry my iPhone everywhere. We mov Ed last year. Our new place had ladybug pupas on the brick wall. I would go out mid day and stare and photograph the wall. A neighbor came over and we said our hello's. He asked why? Do you stare at the wall each day? I told him. He went to look and said Are you shooting photos of Bird poop? I said no. Come look at my up close photos on my phone. He was so surprised. Be more so relieved I was not mental. Ha ha hee hee! Yes I will keep my dear iPhone. When it's time to get a camera I will remember your words. Thank you from the bottom of my heart Bob! Always~ Cindy Sue ~

It's a nice close up of this Ladybug dining on aphaids. You have nice colors and fine placement within the frame, but focus is soft.
Still it's a nice capture and I wish you the best in the contest.
;)
