Really like the clarity of this photo, great vibrant colours, you can see great definition in in the beak and head area, i have never seen a grey heron in a tree before, i only see them on shore so this is a treat for me to see just a beautiful shot.

Gorgeous. Love the contrasting colors and the detail captured in the wings as well as the upsweep motion of the branches. Perhaps giving the bird more space below the body would create more balance.

A truly majestic photograph of this fine specimen of a Heron - brilliant clarity of the birds features & colours despite the few branches in front, brilliant angle to give scale and size to the Heron, really looking like he rules the roost!! great picture.

Wow great photo of the great heron. The blue sky really lets him stand out really well. I have a photo of this kind of heron, however, hes not that clear because i was on a boat and it was wavy lol. Great focus and framing. Beautiful job
