This is so awesome looking I am holding back at entering. I usually do not look at any other entry when I myself participate....but this time I wanted to get a feel of exactly what you wanted. This is absolutely gorgeous what you have painted. I fell in love with it almost immediately. Everything about it from texture to color combination and from the subject matter itself to the overall composition is nothing but top notch. I can feel the sun piercing through the clouds as I look upon your work of art.
I forecast a 1st place ribbon in your not too distant future....if not 1st , then definitely in the top three. Thanks for sharing and thanks for creating this contest. I guess I better get to posting mine as well. (Smile)

I really like how those yellow leaves jump out of the scene and your reflections are very nicely applied. I think you have a realistic sky and the highlights on the shoreline are attractive.

In my head I can hear the birds calling to one another & the odd twig snap as animals walk or rung on the forest floor. Created with very skilful brushwork beautiful choice, blending & application of your colours.
