I always like it when I see a flower I have not seen before, and a name is given to it. This one is truly beautiful with the purple drawings on the white petals and the green colored center. The photo is probably a bit busy on the right side, but the flower is standing out from the background in a very good way.
Your photo is also nice and sharp showing such clear and well defined details both in the petals and the center, and also the exposure is very good.
Personally I would have cropped the photo on the left to make the flower sit less centered, but this is of course a matter of taste, because this is an all together lovely and well taken photo, and with a very good DOF.

Many thanks Annie for your kind and comprehensive review and comments all of which are valid. The problem with these flowers is that they always point downwards ( I don't know why!) and the surrounding vegetation seemed the only natural way to hold it up!! Mike

Very good close up of this lovely Helibore and I like the angle you used for this. The tangle of foliage and twigs creates an interesting frame. Very good lighting and focus showing excellent clarity. Very nice composition. Suzanne

Camera tech perfection!!! Your focus is absolute quite grand. The exposure just perfection in color and in lighting. I would have given up a sixer if you had moved that one tiny limb out of the way!!! LOL Thanks for sharing another beautiful image!
