Very nice and very well done. Like the red tinge of the setting or rising sun. Like your angle and framing of the shot and the Depth of it as well as the story it tells. Great focus and color. Thanks for sharing and HAGD.

This picture gave me chills. As if I had just opened my door to look out at the snow, immediately making me cold. I love the pretty colors behind the evergreens. Nice picture.

Your welcome. Yes we were belted with snow also. But now it is mostly black here in the city so especially enjoyed your photo.

well good HC. It will take awhile for all the snow at my place to be gone so will have more snow photos I bet. Thanks again.

Such a pristine view. Interesting about the "peachy" sky before a snow storm. Excellent composition with how you balance the trees around the driveway. Beautiful lighting and focus. Well done.

The 'driveway' Gail was actually an old animal trail that I turned into my driveway. So the eons of animals coming through the woods are who designed the space my driveway now travels. Very cool huh? Do appreciate you checking this one out and giving it such a wonderful review. Thanks so very much.

Love the winter blue hue in this beautiful panorama. The sunset really adds to the image. The image is very scenic and the lighting and clarity is fantastic Nice JOb! :o) Helvi

Lovely scene, peg, with beautiful color, exposure and focus. I like your wide crop. I would love a little something on the road, someone walking or a dog, but still a lovely shot.

Really? This road is my driveway Eva so if someone were walking a dog there either myself or MY dog would be chasing them off. lol Also it would compromise the feeling of serenity I was trying to capture I think. I do appreciate your idea but you will probably never see anything but wild animals in any of my photos...or perhaps my dogs. Thanks so much for the lovely review though.

It's why I didn't subtract any stars. Just personal preference :)

No worries. I realized that's what it was.

This is really a gorgeous winter scene Deborah. What caught my eye wasn't so much the snowy scene, which we see a lot of those on the web, but the amazing colors of the sky which serve to highlight and warm up the entire photograph. This would really be a stunning Christmas Card. As a mixed media type, I would be really tempted to put a 'painterly' filter on this, just lightly, so that one looks at it and wonders photograph or painting?.

You should have this or something similar in the winter contest :)

I'm afraid I'm really bad about contests Shirley. I vote in all of them but don't take the time to enter....I'd have to allot more time to do that I'm afraid but now that you've mentioned the 'Winter Contest'...well, lol...I KNOW I have some great images for that one so I'll have to take the time. I should also take the time to familiarize myself w/ filters. It's a wonderful review you gave my piece. I really do appreciate your time and ideas and, of course, the big gold star! Thank you so very much for all of it.

Peg this is a very cool capture. You were so fortunate to grab the light at this time. Wonder winter landscape with a sky just bursting in color. We have had very little snow this year and I am not complaining.

I try to get out snow shoeing as much as I can Meg...makes the very long winter more enjoyable....I wouldn't like it if I had to be stuck inside. Thank you so very much for the marvelous review and I so appreciate the extra sparkle you shared with my latest post.
