Makes me cold just looking at it LOL; love the sky colors esp the the color at the horizon; good contrast w/ the snow and trees; wonderful focus; I heard Vermont was getting it big time. Take care.

It was actually about 30* when I took this swimmer. Positively spring like....lol...although you might not think so. Yes...we got a TON of snow. It's not every winter that I have to shovel the roofs. Thank you so very much for checking out my new post and I so appreciate the gold star you shared w/ it.

We had quite a lot of snow over here to the west of you last week too,my friend,but the Adirondack version of the 'Chinook' wind is blowing and the sun is gaining more power as it climbs higher into the sky so a lot of that mess is gone now!
I HATE snow and I've never thought of it as being 'beautiful' but this fine looking picture that you've presented us with certainly is!

We had quite a lot of snow over here to the west of you last week too,my friend,but the Adirondack version of the 'Chinook' wind is blowing and the sun is gaining more power as it climbs higher into the sky so a lot of that mess is gone now!
I HATE snow and I've never thought of it as being 'beautiful' but this fine looking picture that you've presented us with certainly is!

ahahaha...you always make me smile Sean...especially when it comes to snow. I even took my camera up on the roof w/ me b/c everything looked so 'beautiful' lol. Well regardless of whether or not you like snow it was very generous of you to give my new post a gold star....in fact, maybe even MORE than generous considering you HATE snow. Very good depth of field. It is a longer shot then the last and the orange has disappeared. Am I looking east or west? White balance is good. Looking north-west Don. The tall narrow ones are Cedars...the other are Spruce Trees and, of course, most of the bare ones are Maples. The tracks are from the 4 wheeler. Good eye...lol...you didn't miss a thing! It went up to 35* this weekend but colder again today. 60*....wow...it'll be awhile before we hit that around here. Thanks so much for checking out my new post and I do appreciate the thorough review.
