if the boat was a bit bigger it could be a nice center of interest, like this it is lost on the frame

the importance is the glacier, the center of interest, not the boat;
to make the boat bigger, I should crop the glacier: not a good idea.
and a glacier isn't a block of ice

A remarkable scene once you get a feel for the proportions. The exposure for the whites is very good and the details on the face of the glacier are excellent. Best of luck in the contest.

A beautiful picture of the hugh Greenland Glacier with fissures appearing in it the tiny boat with it's eight "sailors" gives us a very good ideal of it's size. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.
