This is a stunning view of such a rich colored terrain. The horse and rider on the cliff is the best subject for this landscape. Your framing is great and the exposure is perfect.

What a terrific capture. Fit enough to be shown in a Hollywoog movie.! It is a classic! You have captured the essentials of the subject. Instinctive I think. and has maintained all that is required for holding interest of the viewer. Bravo!

Well done! Your focus, framing, and lighting are all good. That must have been quite a peaceful ride for that horse and rider. You did a great job :) Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful weekend ;)

This is really outstanding, Nikman......the colors give the general description of the location in the way of weather, terrain, distance in your frame and light and shadows. Excellent job controlling those and your saturation.

Your clarity of your rider is a delight to view! Simply a delight! He is not primary in your frame..but he is primary for my choice in viewing. I think this is pertinent to your story...as he stands and views miles and miles in his sight. A dramatic capture because of that. Nice work!!

Cool, high interest shot. Really well exposed and focus. A good study in value of similar hues. Normally I might suggest that the rider be situated more according to the rule of thirds, but the placement here really works to emphasize the side of the cliff. Really nice shadows along that cliff edge.

A lovely picture. The horseman looks quite rugged, sitting there astride his mount as they overlook the plains. Absolutely breathtaking. Like an old western.

Is that the fellow who gets paid to sit there on his horse and give some perspective to the magnificent surroundings? Monument Valley is one of the most jaw dropping places in the country. I remember, when I was a kid at the movies, the cavalry was always riding around the same spot to the rescue of the hapless settlers, cowboys or whoever else need saving. Sorry, I digress. A great image, sharply focused and very nicely composed. Thanks for the memory!

This is different, you were at the right place at the right time,,love the viewpoint , this makes the rider look so small in this scene,,glad the rider is wearing red so we can see him,,love the reddish colour of the dirt as well

Love the wide angle of the photo. Makes you realize how small someone is in the greatness of the openness of the valley. Great job.

The first thing that "hits" me in this shot is the flow that keeps the viewer in the shot. Nice placement of the horse and rider, draws attention but doesn't take over the image.

Plenty of room for the cowboy to survey the scene.

Love it!
