This is a great scene and I really like how you have the artist painting a flower character. I think the background has great detail and the woven pattern is shaded well and has good texture. Great expressions too!

An abstract cartoon character creating and abstract cartoon. Now, I know there must be a word to describe this but beats me what it is.
You could put this or any other flower power cartoon you've done in a room with many other similar illustrations and I would spot your distinctive style from the other side of the room.
Attention to detail, clean crisp lines, bold color, and continuity of form filled with expressive whimsical characters best describes this piece.

as a illustrator for writers i have to tell the basic story in one drawing. so years of that gives me a lotta practice. now i have been going after musicians in doing the music videos. if ya get bored and wanna tap a foot, or maybe do a chuckle or even shed a tear, just stop by Youtube.com under "MKFlood Presents". there is about 17 now with a wide range of topics and different types of music. thanks for the great review.

Indeed Sreenivassan is very talented and i an a fan of his work big time...I also like your work and the composition you have presented here is just great and bringing in all that colour on the canvas image is so well balanced within the centre making this painting come alive with fun, joviality and certainly eye catching
