    Neil,
Thanks a million for your review & for being the one to give me that 26th Review to gain the Best Ever Status.
The changes were very few in editing this picture just three. Turn it to negative, Add the Wedgwood Blue, & then frame it.

This is so very creative. I have skipped by this piece several times and finally I feel like I can look at this.

I think most people, myself included, would have simply added a black mat. The use of Wedgwood Blue is a stroke of genius. The soft color almost a pastel is easy to look at and shows off the bird and the tree branches so well. I think a black or even a dark blue background would push the contrast to a point that might even be garish.

This is an excellent piece, thank you for sharing this with us ... B-)) Bob

Annie your after photo work is remarkable and as far as I am concerned Legendary. To take the original and make it into this very artistic scene is a wondrous achievement. I am sure there is nothing that I can add to that which has already been said about this. So I will not attempt. I only wish I had six to award. Great work Annie ~ Steve

This is VERY pretty Susan. I love Wedgwood and this was a really good idea to show your little guy this way.

I like the way you titled your piece and your notes....as well as methodology are excellent. Love the silhouetted view of the little bird so obviously singing. I know I have occasionally asked you why the frames etc. but this time it's just perfect...the oval frame...the branches...the color and the perfect little negative of your happy little singer. I think you've done everything right here. I wouldn't add..subtract or change a single thing...and lol..I DO love Wedgwood so it gets one of my gold stars.

Lovely piece Susan. I like this a lot.

Deborah

Such a beautiful silhouette of this Dunnock singing and sitting on these branches in the park. Thanks you for your good artists notes. I like the title of this image because it tells a story and the image reflects the title. Your creative post-processing work is excellent. The wedge wood blue tone is fantastic and the white silhouette shown so beautifully. This is very nice work and thanks for sharing!

A nice, unusual take on a silhouette picture - simple but with great clarity and a good choice to go with the white onto light blue making it stand out clearly on its perch. Lovely and different picture.

    Sean,
Thanks a million for your great review.
Joshua Wedgwood was a famous English Potter of the eighteenth century 1730/95 who created this style of Pottery with the design in white applied to a matt- finish already glazed pot usually in blue but also in a dark blue black as well. You should google him there is a lot about him on the web.

I think this is lovely Susan. The lavender and the white are so fresh and pure in color. The silhouette framed in the oval is perfection...with the branch moving through just below center.

Thank you for your thorough artist notes. I enjoyed reading every word and appreciate your explanation of your post processing. Beautiful work!
