A Bird inspired by J. Wedgwood

A Dunnock in silhouette

It is not difficult to see that this was inspired by Wedgwood, and it was a really good idea to turn a black silhouette into white, since we see so many in black. The second color being light purple makes this picture looking really delicate. I also like very much the framing you did here.

Both the bird and branches are standing out sharp against the background, and I also think the bird has got a very good position within the frame. Still it is all the branches you included making this image special.

It is a really good balance in the composition, also a sharp and lovely photo, and a great edit. A truly creative and beautiful mixed media photo Susan.

A superb image. It would look just great on a plate. Maybe you should have presented it round. Great color and a lovely subject.

    Mike,
I took you advice & changed the picture editing my Posting
With the picture in an oval frame, round did not suit it.

very cool..i remember when working with advertisements in the newspaper we would call this procedure reverse highlight. the angle of the shot of the bird on the branch is great. nice choice of background color. the creation is balanced and very eye appealing to the viewer. creative approach and awesome work overall(clapping)

Visually soothing blue & white, J.Wedgwood inspired creation.
Dichromatic concept.
Innovative approach. Imaginative presentation.
An out of the box rendition.
Crisp & clear outlines.
Can we call this "reverse silhouette"?!?
Thanks for sharing...
